Sister of man shot outside Portland preschool speaks out about DA’s decision not to press charges

The Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office decided not to press charges against Eric Salisbury, a security guard involved in a fatal shooting outside a Portland Jewish preschool, ruling the act as self-defense.

Melissa Garza, the victim’s sister, expressed her family’s frustration with the decision not to charge Salisbury. "At the end of the day, this is my brother who was 32 years old. He has parents and siblings who love him," she said. "It’s completely unfair. Completely biased."
