Sheriff identifies Idaho gunman who started wildfire, fatally shot firefighters in ambush attack

WATCH: Kootenai County Sheriff Bob Norris has identified the Idaho gunman who – armed with a rifle – started a wildfire and then began shooting at first responders in a northern Idaho mountain community, killing two firefighters and wounding a third. https://bit.ly/3Goh1SH
The firefighters were shot while responding to a fire on Canfield Mountain near Coeur d’Alene. Sheriff Norris identified the suspect as Wess Roley, 20, saying he intentionally set the fire and then shot the fire fighters.
