BREAKING: 1 student killed, another shot in Nashville-area school shooting

Watch the full press conference following a shooting at a high school in Nashville on Wednesday, Jan. 22.

One student is dead after Metro Police confirmed two students were shot at a Nashville-area high school on Tuesday morning.

Officials provided a preliminary timeline of events as well as victim information to the media.

At 11:09 a.m. CST, police confirmed that a 17-year-old African American male gunman armed with a pistol fired multiple shots inside of the Antioch High School cafeteria. After the shots rang out, officials said the gunman turned the gun on themselves leading to their death.
