Over the past five years, Danielle Boyer — who taught herself how to build robots by watching online tutorials — has given away more than 15,000 robotics kits that she invented. “I grew up with a teaching called the Seventh Generation Principle, which is that every decision we make is for the next seven generations and their benefit, and that every decision is inspired and guided by the seven generations in the past,” said Boyer, 24, who is Ojibwe.
