Timelapse of lenticular clouds sitting over the top of Mt. Hood

Stacked lenticular clouds were captured on our "Visit Hood River" camera in the Columbia River Gorge on Thursday, February 20, 2025. Lenticular clouds form when high winds move through a relatively stable atmosphere and are forced up and over a topographic barrier.
