Push/Fold celebrates 7th anniversary with a return to Portland’s stage

Push/Fold, a contemporary dance company, is marking its seventh anniversary by bringing its inaugural piece back to Portland.

The company has been performing internationally and will close out the season with this homecoming performance.

The dance, described as a practice of strength and trust, has been a cornerstone of Push/Fold’s repertoire.

Debora Knapp spoke with the artistic director after a rehearsal. "It’s incredible to see how far we’ve come in these seven years," the director said. "Bringing this piece back to Portland feels like coming full circle."

The performance promises to be a celebration of the company’s journey and achievements over the years.
