President Trump holds first cabinet meeting, Elon Musk updates DOGE activities

President Donald Trump will join the first Cabinet meeting of his second term at the White on Wednesday, with Department of Government Efficiency head Elon Musk set to join in.

On Tuesday, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed Musk’s attendance at the meeting, despite him not being an official Cabinet member.

Leavitt said Cabinet members will provide updates on their efforts and what they are doing to implement policies related to the "promises that the president made on the campaign trail."

Before the meeting, Trump posted on Truth Social that all cabinet members are "extremely happy with Elon."
