Portland mayor calls for city and state to repay real estate agent more than $100,000

Portland Mayor Keith Wilson said the city should have discussions about paying back a North Portland real estate agent who spent more than $100,000 on city-mandated sidewalk and street corner improvements as a condition of the building permit to renovate her office.
A KATU investigation found the Oregon Department of Transportation intended to upgrade the street corner in an upcoming state project along North Lombard, but the city made the business owner, Kami Price, do it anyway.
In a public hearing on the bill on April 3, lawmakers encouraged the city of Portland to pay Kami back.
