Madras Aquatic Center puts permanent tax levy back on the ballot

The measure would establish a flat property tax rate of under $1.20 per $1,000 assessed property value. That’s about four cents less per $1,000 than the previous effort. The Madras Aquatic Center reduced opening hours by nearly 35% in September and is falling behind on repair work.
