Hundreds march at Oregon Capitol, rally in Portland for May Day supporting worker & immigrant rights

Hundreds of immigrant workers, families, and advocates gathered at the Oregon State Capitol on Thursday for the annual May Day March for Immigrant and Worker Rights.

The event is organized by Pineros Y Campesinos Unidos del Noroeste (PCUN), a farmer-worker labor union based in Woodburn. According to a release from the union, communities from across the state will gather to uplift the voices of immigrant workers and demand the rights, respect, and protections they deserve.
