After concerns of funding in the Washington legislature, the Friends of the Columbia Gorge have announced that renewed funding for The Columbia River Gorge Commission was voted in. The group helps to regulate local river needs with the balance of outside interests and to help keep land and property in the hands of locals.
Conservation director Renee Tkach joins FOX 12 Now to talk about their work and the efforts for funding from the Oregon side.
