Mom of teen shot in head pushes for gun control

Less than two months after surviving a gunshot wound to the head, 16-year-old Elliott Beck is conscious, speaking, and making stunning progress in his recovery.
His mother has partnered with Alliance for a Safe Oregon, a lobby group for gun regulation, and will share her son’s story in Salem in hopes of pushing for gun regulation bills as well as bills to fund violence prevention programs.
