Oregon’s budget outlook slashed by hundreds of millions; ‘kicker’ tax refund reduced

Oregon lawmakers will have hundreds of millions of dollars less to work with than they previously thought in the next two-year budget as economic growth slows and revenue projections fall. The state’s kicker refund is also now expected to be $87.5 million less than previously forecast.
