Medical officials confirm Oregon’s first human case of avian flu in Clackamas County

The first known case of human bird flu in Oregon has been identified at a Clackamas County poultry farm. Health officials say there’s no evidence of person-to-person transmission and the risk to the public is low.
According to the CDC, 52 people have been infected with bird flu across the U.S., including 26 cases in California and 11 in Washington.
