Oregon joins lawsuit against Trump order on gender-affirming care funding

Oregon has joined a multi-state lawsuit challenging a Trump administration order that threatens to cut federal funding to medical institutions providing gender-affirming care to individuals under 19.
Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield, along with his counterparts from Washington and Minnesota, filed the lawsuit. Rayfield said medical care should be between the patient and the provider.
