Jefferson Dancers hit the national stage at Pittsburgh dance festival

Portland is home to a notable performing arts program – the Jefferson Dancers, who are celebrating their 49th season this year.

Through March 2, the Jefferson Dancers are set to take part in the National High School Dance Festival in Pittsburgh. The festival is open to all performing arts schools across the country.

The dancers will perform three pieces that were created at Jefferson High School in front of thousands of students – some of whom are traveling from across the globe to be at the festival.
