Oregon House Republicans urge Trump for voter ID executive order

Seven Oregon House Republicans have called on President Donald Trump to issue an executive order mandating voter ID and citizenship verification for voter registration across all states.

"There’s been concern for a long time about citizenship status on our voter rolls," said Republican Rep. Ed Diehl, one of the House Republicans who sent a letter to the president.

The request, made in the letter sent Friday, comes in response to issues with Oregon’s Motor Voter Law.
