Some say the arrest of a mini-mart owner is cause for hope in a historic Portland neighborhood

When pulled over, arrested and served a search warrant for his corner store, court documents report 43-year-old Donald Sharma told a Portland Police officer, "someone must have snitched."
The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) says a search of Sharma’s Stop Go Mini Mart on Williams Ave., across the Street from Dawson’s Park, revealed he had allegedly been leading a full-fledged drug dealing operation from inside the store.
Police say the bust did, in fact, come as the result of numerous tips they started to receive about a year ago regarding alleged drug dealing activities coming from within the store.
