19-year-old father indicted for murder after infant’s death in Gladstone

A 19-year-old father has been indicted on murder charges following the death of his six-week-old infant.
The infant was admitted to a local trauma center with severe injuries on April 20. The Gladstone Police Department reported that the injuries occurred within the city limits and were believed to be the result of "homicidal violence."
According to the Clackamas County District Attorney’s Office, the child was left with his father while the mother was at work. Additionally, the parents lived at the Budget Inn in Gladstone. While no one at the Budget Inn wanted to talk on camera, an employee said this was a tragedy for the family.
