Teen with autism says group of teens assaulted him, broke his phone in North Portland park

The Portland Police Bureau is investigating an assault that happened at George Park in North Portland on Monday afternoon.
According to police, the incident involved an autistic teenager around 4:30 on April 21.
Both police and the teenager’s mom told KATU he was confronted while at the park with his friends by a group of teenagers.
"I’m just like, I’m just like panicking at this point,” the teenager, 15-year-old Johnny Wood, told KATU about when he said they tried to take his backpack.
According to Wood, he was slapped multiple times by one teenager, while another took his phone and broke it.
