Multnomah County DA vows accountability as arraignments loom for Portland State protest arrests

Five people are set to be arraigned on Wednesday after being arrested while protesting on Portland State University’s (PSU) campus, Monday night.

According to a spokesperson for PSU, two of the people arrested are confirmed to be students.

On Monday, dozens of people showed up to protest the appearance of Conservative activist Riley Gaines. Protesters took issue with Gaines talking about how she believes transgender women shouldn’t play on women’s sports teams.
