Suspect arrested in connection to attempted kidnapping of teen girl in Vancouver

A 31-year-old Vancouver man was arrested Tuesday evening in connection with an attempted kidnapping of a teenage girl that took place earlier that day, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

Cameron Parrish was arrested around 9 p.m. and booked into the Clark County jail. He faces charges of attempted kidnapping in the first degree, assault in the first degree, and a firearms/dangerous weapons violation.

Detectives searched the neighborhood and received surveillance camera footage from a neighbor showing a car matching the description provided by the victim.
