Bullets fly into Gresham home, narrowly missing father and daughter; suspect arrested

A man was injured and a woman is in custody after a shooting at a home in Gresham on Thursday evening, police officials say.

The shooting was reported near the intersection of Northeast 181st Avenue and Pacific Court.

Bullets from the shooting flew through the back door of a neighbor’s apartment, narrowly missing a girl and her father. A surveillance camera captured the moment that the father pulled his daughter to safety.

Initial reports state that a woman shot at a man during a domestic disturbance. He sustained a graze wound and fled the scene.

Officers took the woman into custody, and the man got medical attention for the graze wound.
