250 million bees loose after semi overturns in Washington

About 250 million bees were set loose early Friday after a semi truck carrying 70,000 pounds of hives overturned near Lynden, Washington. The Whatcom County Sheriff’s Office said beekeepers are working to reset the hives and safely recover the bees. The road remains closed during the process.
